Dr. Berchtold graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998.
She then completed an intensive year-long internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Oradell Animal Hospital in New Jersey. She returned to New England in 1999 and has been practicing here since then. Around 2012 she completed her acupuncture training from the Chi Institute and later got certified in Chinese Herbal Medicine for animals. She uses all of her training to help her practice internal medicine and surgery and alternative methods of pain control.
Dr. Berchtold loves being a member of the Chelmsford community and enjoys playing pickleball and golf, as well as trivia. She loves watching baseball and spending time with her husband and son Finn.
