Erin has always had an affinity for animals. As a young girl she would help care for the family dogs and cats as well as the neighbors' animals.
She has been working in the veterinary industry since 2006. In 2008 she adopted her own dog, Remy, as a stray who was hit by a car as a 12 week old puppy. Nobody claimed responsibilty for him and he needed an orthopedic surgeon to repair a broken leg. The surgeon placed 5 pins in Remy's shoulder and stressed the importance of proper rest and care. Erin decided to adopt the little guy, who now is not so little. He is a 60 pound hound-mix who runs like the wind. Since then, Erin has also rescued two other dogs; a chocolate lab named Clayton and a miniature Dachshund named Maddie. She's had two cats, Jack and Jingles, for 6 years also.
Things can get hectic but Erin wouldn't have it any other way. She loves her four-legged kids. In her spare time Erin loves watching the Boston Bruins, reading, and writing.
