Dr. Hart was born and raised in Miami, Florida.  She attended undergraduate school and earned her veterinary degree at the University of Florida in Gainesville.

After graduation, Patricia completed an internship at the Animal Medical Center in Cooper City, Florida. She has special interests in surgery, emergency medicine and exotics.

Dr. Hart is married to Dr. Engelhardt and one son named Grant Henry. Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her three cats Kitty, Linus, and Nala and her two dogs Grover and Cricket. She enjoys hiking, skiing and golfing in her spare time.
