Patricia was born and raised in Miami Florida. She attended the University of Florida for both her undergraduate and veterinary education and earned her DVM degree in 1998. She moved to New England after finishing an internship at the Animal Medical Center in Cooper City, Florida. She has special interest in surgery, emergency medicine and small mammal exotic medicine. Opening the Chelmsford Animal Hospital with her husband Dr. Mark Engelhardt and business partners fulfilled the dream of owning her own practice.
Patricia is a dedicated mother of 2 sons, Grant and Hayden, and enjoys all the outdoor activities that New England offers. She feels fortunate to have made her home in the wonderful town of Chelmsford.
