Dr. Berchtold graduated From The Ohio State University in 1998. She then completed an intensive year-long internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Oradell Animal Hospital in New Jersey. She returned to New England in 1999 and has been practicing here since then. Recently she completed her small animal acupuncture training at the Chi Institute of Chinese Veterinary Medicine. She is pursuing training in herbal medication currently. In her free time, Dr. Berchtold enjoys reading, traveling, movies and spending time with her husband and young son Finn.
