Dr. Engelhardt completed his B.S. degree in Business Administration from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire in 1991. He obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Michigan State University in 1997. He has extensive experience in emergency medicine, having practiced in Grand Rapids, Michigan; Manchester and Nashua, New Hampshire. 

Dr. Engelhardt is a member of the American Animal Hospital (AAHA), the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the International Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society ( IVECCS). 

Dr. Engelhardt is married to Dr. Patricia Hart. They are happy to announce the birth of their son, Grant on May 31, 2006. The Engelhardt’s reside in Chelmsford Mass, with three cats, Linus, Black Kitty and Nala and their two dogs, Grover and Cricket. They all enjoy being welcomed into the community of Chelmsford
