Amanda, who goes by “Mindy” has been working at the animal hospital since her senior year in high school. Prior to joining CAH, she worked at Countryside Animal Hospital for over a year. Amanda now attends The University of Massachusetts in Amherst and just graduated with her Associates Degree in Equine Industries. Due to her love for animals, she is continuing her education and has transferred to the 4-year Animal Science program and is pursuing a degree in Animal Behavior/Advocacy.
Mindy has always loved animals, large and small and knew that she wanted a career helping animals. Through her studies in equine, she learned that horses are her hobby while smaller animals are her passion. She hopes to someday be their “voice” as well as train them to assist disabled people. Or follow her dream of becoming a vet.
Mindy enjoys riding horses and is thrilled to be on the UMass Polo team. She likes to pet sit for friends and loves her cat, Smokey. The Chelmsford Animal Hospital and everyone who works here are my second family.
